Obituary for Michael Joseph Rescigno

Michael Joseph Rescigno, 59, of Long Branch, passed away peacefully with his loving family in Pulaski, PA after a courageous four month battle with cancer on Monday, April 30, 2018. He was born on September 27, 1958 in Long Branch and lived most of his life in Oceanport, NJ. He was a 1972 graduate of Holy Trinity School, Long Branch and a 1976 graduate of Shore Regional High School, West Long Branch.

Michael moved to western Pennsylvania where he loved his work in agriculture and living around many relatives. He returned to NJ where he worked for Teicher Real Estate/Market on Main, LLC, East Main Street, Oceanport for the last 25 years and was loved by many who knew him there. He considered it his second home and worked diligently there until Thursday, April 26, 2018.

Michael was a kind and respectful person who always had a nice word to say to and about everyone. He was always willing to help anyone who asked. He had a brilliant mind and a loving soul who could make us laugh to tears. Mike was a simple man who lived his life on his terms. He loved books, history, classic cars and could talk with anyone about anything.

Michael will be missed immensely by all who loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Sally Roeg of Naples, Fla., his father Noble J. Rescigno, Jr. of Naples, Fla., his sister Michele Pavacich of Long Branch, his nieces Taylor and McKenzie Pavacich and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
