Obituary for Thomas R. Emick
Thomas R. Emick, age 68 of Whiting, formerly of Long Branch, died on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Williamsport, PA, Tom moved to Long Branch in 1965 and lived in the area until moving to Whiting 6 years ago. Tom was a carpenter with the Tormee Construction Company in Tinton Falls until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid hunter who spent many a day hunting in the fields with his son Michael.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Deborah; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Carol; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Glen Grob and Jamie and Ricardo Santos; his brother John “Jack” Emick, Jr.; five grandchildren, Brandon and Julia Santos, Bailey Grob and Keira and Michael Emick and his very close friend, April Tanzer.
All services for Thomas were private. Family and friends are invited to write a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
