Maria A. Gago, age 62 of Long Branch, died on July 7, 2018. Maria was born in Aguda, Portugal and she was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch.

Surviving is her husband, Porfirio Gago; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Marissa Gago; Samuel and Adrienne Gago; 3 grandchildren, Ella, Lucy and Max and her siblings, Antonio Simoes, Arminda Tomas, Eduarda Simoes, Fernanda Sosnicki(Simoes) and Gracinda Silva

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11 from 5-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 12 at 10 am at Star of the Sea Church. Interments will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, light a candle or share a story by selecting the appropriate tab.
