Maria A. Gago, age 62 of Long Branch, died on July 7, 2018. Maria was born in Aguda, Portugal and she was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch.

Surviving is her husband, Porfirio Gago; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Marissa Gago; Samuel and Adrienne Gago; 3 grandchildren, Ella, Lucy and Max and her siblings, Antonio Simoes, Arminda Tomas, Eduarda Simoes, Fernanda Sosnicki(Simoes) and Gracinda Silva

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11 from 5-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 12 at 10 am at Star of the Sea Church. Interments will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch.
