Obituary for Pearl D. Towns
Pearl D. Towns, 94, formerly of Long Branch died peacefully at Gateway Care Center in Eatontown on July 30, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Angelina Towns and granddaughter Lauren E. O’Neill both of Long Branch, her son Benjamin C. Towns of Brick and two nieces, Alesia Tunis of Carney’s Point and Letha Walker of Maryland.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and caregivers at Gateway Care Center and Grace Hospice for all of their kindness, caring and compassion. Also Chaplain Constantine, thank you for your prayers.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch. As per her request, please make a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org/donate. Cremation will be private. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
