Obituary for Jeanna Mari

Jeanna  Mari
Jeanna Mari, age 40 of Brick, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Jeanna was born in Long Branch and raised and educated in High Bridge, NJ; she moved to Brick in 2004. Jeanna received her Master of Psychology at Monmouth University and was a child development counselor at Sunny Days, Inc. in Manalapan. Her greatest passion in life was working with “her kids” at work. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church in West End and a sorority member of Phi Sigma Sigma.

She was predeceased by her sister Kelly Procida. Surviving are her father Michael Mari of Long Branch, her mother Janet Wang of Whitting; her son and daughter, Robert and Angela Dienes of Brick and their father, Stephen Dienes; her sister, Annette Procida of Brick, and her step-father, John Chumbley of Bangor, PA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, Long Branch. Funeral, Saturday, 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Michael's Church in West End, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Mary’s Place by the Sea, 22 Main Ave., Ocean Grove, NJ 07756. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
