Obituary for Herbert A. Boley
Herbert Alfred Boley, 93 of Monmouth Beach, passed away on August 23, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1924, he was the eldest son the late Dr. Henry B. Boley, MD and Reta Bassell Boley. Herbert was a respected stockbroker, antiquarian and genealogist, graduate of Poly Prep Country Day School in 1941, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1947, and a World War II Veteran.
Surviving are his beloved long-time close best friend of over 45 years, Michael A. Sbarbari; devoted brothers, Dr. Scott J. (Sandra Nathan) Boley, MD and Benjamin W. (Sue Hoffman) Boley; fond uncle of Jeffrey(Julia), Kenneth (Laura), Todd, and Dr. Elena, MD (David Leviss).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26 from 11 am until 1 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 1 pm at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 8355 Cypress Hills Street, Glendale, NY.
