Obituary for Laurlee Ann Schumann
Laurlee Ann Schumann, age 80 of Ocean Twp., died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at home. Mrs. Schumann was a retired Registrar at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Asbury Park and a member of Ladies of Irish Heritage. Born in Newark she had lived in Tinton Falls before moving to Ocean Twp. in 2005.
She is survived by her husband Daniel; two daughters and a son in law, Laurlee Ann and James Perri and Patricia "Trish" Schumann; a son and daughter in law, Daniel and Christine Schumann; her brother William Eble; sister, Carolyn Terhune; 8 grandchildren, Kathleen McCoy and her husband Craig, Daniel Schumann, III, Steven Schumann, Matthew Bijas, Travis Hiller, Danielle Bourne and her husband James, James Perri and his wife Kristen and Vincent Perri; 2 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and her step sister and step brothers in law, Patricia and William Thorne and Barbara and Joseph Gardner.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral, Monday; 9:30 am from the funeral home with an 11:00 am Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Asbury Park. Interment will follow at Brigadier General Wm C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
