Obituary for Nicholas R. Davis

Nicholas R. Davis, age 30 of Brick, died peacefully on September 23, 2018. Born in Long Branch, he had lived in Neptune before moving to Brick. Nicky graduated from Brick Memorial High School in 2006 and was a member of the Neptune and Brick Soccer, Wrestling and Little League clubs, and the Hammer Club. He was a parishioner of Holy Innocents and St. Dominic’s Church. Nicky was passionate about fishing and was an avid Cowboy and Yankee fan.

Nick was predeceased by his Pop-Pop’s, Steve Martin, Sr. and Fred Davis. Surviving are his mother and step father, Lori and Jim Manning; his father and step mother, James Davis and Sue Ringo; his twin brother, James Davis; his sister, Brittany Davis; his brother, Christopher Davis; his Nana’s, Kay Martin and Eleanor Davis; his step sister, Melanie Manning, step brother, Michael Manning; his nephew and niece, Oliver and Ariana; his uncles and aunts, Steve and Diane Martin, Lisa Martin and Rette Nagy, Glen Davis, Ken and Debra Davis, Kevin and Sherri Davis and many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27 from 4:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. Long Branch. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Recreational Fishing Alliance, P.O. Box 3080, New Gretna, NJ 08824. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
