Barbara Kulick, age 90 of Shrewsbury, died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Brandywine Sycamore in Shrewsbury. Mrs. Kulick was born and raised in Long Branch and lived briefly in Woodbridge before moving back to Long Branch. She retired from New Jersey American Water Company in 1993.
She was predeceased by her husband, William in 1968, her sister, Clara Reich Calarco in 2011 and her sister, Christina Palaia in 2017. She is survived by her niece, Anna Marie Todaro and her family; husband, Jack Karolewicz and son, Michael John Karolewicz of Eatontown.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2 from 4-7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Family and friends are asked to go directly to St. Anselm’s Church, 1028 Wayside Road in Tinton Falls on Wednesday for a 11:00 am Mass. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Anselm’s Church.
