Marlene Genovesi, age 58 of Eatontown, died Friday, October 12, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Marlene was born in Bronx, NY and had lived in Tinton Falls before moving to Eatontown 4 years ago. She was a Montclair State College graduate and the owner of Marlene’s Sports Memorabilia in the Monmouth Mall before retiring.

She was predeceased by her father, Jose Ramon Colon. Surviving are her mother, Sonia Rodriguez; three sisters, Elizabeth Colon, Sonia Colon and Melinda Herrera and two brothers, Paul Gonzalez and Raymond Colon.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5 pm until the time of the funeral service at 6:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Letters of condolence may be sent through the web at www.damianofuneralhome.com.
