Rande H. Palmer, age 64 of Long Branch, died peacefully surrounded by his family, on October 19, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center. Born in Perth Amboy, he had lived in Laurence Harbor before coming to Long Branch 22 years ago. Rande was a facility technician for Verizon for 31 years. He was an Eagle Scout and a served his Country honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard W. Palmer, his daughter, Michelle Anderson and a granddaughter, Scarlett Palmer. Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Travers Palmer; his son, Rande Palmer; daughters, Diana Passafume, Krystal Delgado and Shannon McSorley; his mother, Pat Palmer; his brother, Richard J. Palmer and his wife Shari; his sister, Robin Colatrella; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa, Hailey, and James Ratcliff; his niece, Kailee Colatrella and 3 nephews, Nicholas Colatrella and Richard and Andrew Palmer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Wednesday; 10:00 am at the funeral home with the service to begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in West Long Branch.
