Robert “Goose” Goslin of Ocean Twp. passed away peacefully on his 82nd birthday, October 25, 2018, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born and raised in Belmar, he had lived Ocean Twp. for 61 years. Mr. Goslin was a Foreman at New Jersey Natural Gas in Wall for 42 years retiring in 1998. After retirement he enjoyed many years as a Crossing Guard for the Ocean Township School system. He served our Country honorably in the Army National Guard. Goose was an avid fluke fisherman and NY Giants fan.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alvin and Evelyn Goslin and his brother, Harry Goslin. Surviving are his wife Eleanor Pappalardo Goslin; a son and daughter in law, Robert and Cindy Goslin; a daughter and son in law, Donna and Joe Hurley; his grandchildren, Christian Goslin, Jenna Hurley Sauer and her husband Josh; his sister in law, Anne Goslin and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 29 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Tuesday; 9:30 am at the funeral home with the service to begin at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
