Luisa D’Ambrisi, age 103 of Long Branch, died Friday, October 26, 2018 at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation at Shrewsbury. Mrs. D’Ambrisi was born in Colliano, Italy and was a longtime resident of Long Branch. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish, Long Branch.

She was predeceased by her husband Elia Rocco D’Ambrisi in 1983; two sons, Joseph in 2011 and Orfeo on Oct. 11, 2018 and his wife Marilyn, and her brother, Pasquale Nigro. Surviving are two sons and three daughters in law, Michael and Anita D’Ambrisi, Philip and Kathleen D’Ambrisi and Margaret D’Ambrisi; Orfeo’s longtime companion, DanaLee Ciaramella; her sister, Carmella Vuocolo; three granddaughters, Elia, Melissa, Kristin; a great grandson, Raymond and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 3 - 7 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral, Wednesday, October 31; 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. Interment will follow at Mt.
