Obituary for Frank "Jay" Patock

Frank "Jay"  Patock
Frank “Jay” Patock, age 74 of Oceanport, died at home on Monday, October 29, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Oceanport, he was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. Jay was a 1965 graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY, BCE and a 1972 graduate of N.J. Institute of Technology, MCE. He served our country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War in Okinawa. Since 1977 Jay had been the President and CEO of Patock Construction Company in Tinton Falls. He was the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Two River Community Bank; the President of the Affordable Housing Alliance; the Director of the American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter and Turning Lives Around; Board of Directors of the Community YMCA; a member of the American Arbitration Association, the Tinton Falls Business and Professional Association, the NJ Business and Industry Association and the Monmouth Ocean Development Council, past President the Red Bank Area Chamber of Commerce, the Red Bank Rotary Club and the Shore Regional Board of Education; past Board of Directors for the Monmouth Day Care Center and past member of the Building and Contractors Association of NJ.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Ruth Patock, and 2 sisters, Pamela Patock and Noel Pat Havard. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Carol Patock; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Torii and Todd Turman and Aimee and Rick Klink; his sister, Priscilla Jack; 5 grandchildren, Jacob, Abby, Sarah, Grace and Danny; many nieces and nephews, and the caregivers who gave him exceptional care.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5 from 4 - 8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral, Tuesday; 8:30 am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Dorothea’s Church, Eatontown. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Red Bank Rotary Foundation, PO Box 8444, Red Bank, NJ 07701; Affordable Housing Alliance, 3535 Route 66, Parkway 100, Building 4, Neptune, NJ 07753 or NYU Melanoma Research Program, c/o Anna C.
