Obituary for Raymond Fabiano
Raymond Fabiano, age 93 of Long Branch, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Harrison, NJ, he had lived in the Vailesburg section of Newark before moving to Long Branch in 1949. Raymond was an underwriter for Royal Globe Insurance Company in East Orange before retiring. He served our country honorably in the US Army during WWII.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Greco Fabiano; 2 brothers, Peter and Anthony and a sister, Jean Del Presto. Surviving are his sister, Gladys with whom he lived, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch on Monday, October 3 from 10 am until the time of the funeral Mass at 12 noon at Star of the Sea Church in Long Branch. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Parish, 380 Division Street, Long Branch, NJ 07740. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
