Obituary for Doris Garreau
Doris A. Garreau, age 100 of West Long Branch, died peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at home. Born in Newark, she had lived in Ocean Grove before moving to West Long Branch. Doris was a member of Old First United Methodist Church in West Long Branch, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Monmouth County Arts Council Society of Shrewsbury. She had made the Dean’s list while attending Monmouth College.
Doris was predeceased by her husband, Henry “Harry” Garreau and her son, Jeffrey Garreau. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Michael A. and Mary Garreau of West Milford and 2 granddaughters, Holly Garreau and Kelly Garreau.
All services will be held privately. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
