Obituary for Julia Baham
Julia Caputo Baham, 90 of Bradley Beach, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Hoboken, she had lived in Union City before coming to Bradley Beach 17 years ago. Julia was a teacher for the Hoboken Board of Education for 30 year before retiring in 1999. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Ascension in Bradley Beach.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Paul M. Baham; a son, Paul M. Baham II and his wife Robin; her sister, Mary Caputo Picinich and 2 grandchildren, Ariel and Jordyn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 2, from 5-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue, Long Branch. Funeral Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at the Church of the Ascension in Bradley Beach. Interment will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to U.S.O, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, DC 20077-7677. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
