Albert Joseph  Talerico
Albert Joseph Talerico, age 83 of Gold Canyon, AZ and formerly of Ocean Township, died on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at home. Born in Long Branch to the late Santo and Angelina Talerico, he had lived in Ocean Twp. before moving to Arizona 2 years ago.

He served our Country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Monmouth University and attained his Master's Degree in Operations Research at Brooklyn Polytech. He was an Electronic Engineer for over 30 years at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown. During his long career at Fort Monmouth, he graduated from the US Army War College. Albert also lived in Brussels, Belgium with wife Donna while working for NATO. He was the past president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce in Long Branch and a member of the Ocean Township Board of Education.

He was predeceased by his brother and wife Joseph and Jeanne Talerico, his brother Fiore Talerico, his brother Sam and wife Anna Marie Talerico, his brother Peter and wife Joan Talerico, his brother Anthony Talerico; his sister Mary Ford; and a sister in law, Jennifer Talerico.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Donna Lee Talerico; his son Dr. Marcus Talerico and his wife Dr. Katy Talerico; his daughter, Dina Talerico-Sepe and her husband Christopher Sepe; his brother John Talerico; his sister and brother in law, Virginia and James Houba; 5 grandchildren, Kayla Talerico, Andrew Talerico, Lucas Sepe, Ben Talerico and Elin Sepe; 2 sisters in law, Rose Talerico and Nancy Talerico; a brother in law, Bob Ford and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Albert will be best remembered for the deep love he had for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 19 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Tuesday; 8:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Burial celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Michael’s Church in West End, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Route 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
