Obituary for Joseph A. Angerio
Joseph A. Angerio, 84 of Oakhurst, died peacefully on June 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Long Branch and served as a Police Officer for the City of Long Branch before retiring as a manager at Seacoast Chevrolet in Ocean. He was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church in West End and served his Country honorably in the U.S. Marines.
Surviving are his daughter, Diane Robertelli; his sister, Rosemarie Pittenger and her husband John; 2 grandchildren, Jake and Kara and their father, Patrick Robertelli; his companion, Florence Mazzacco; his sister-in-law, Joyce Angerio; his nieces and nephew, Rhonda Angerio, Denise Angerio and Thomas Robbins. Joe was predeceased by his dog, Dolce, who was the love of his life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 20 at 1 pm at St. Michael’s Church, 800 Ocean Ave in Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to S.P.C.A., 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
