Condolence: We at the Center in Asbury Park are so saddened to learn of Penny's death. She was a faithful "Thursday Volunteer" for so long. Today, Thursday, March 15, the volunteers were talking about her and how much they missed her. They shared the fact that she always brought joy not only into the lives of our clients who she served but also the other volunteers. She was a gift to The Center and Her spirit will always be remembered.
Fr. Bob Kaeding
Executive Director, The Center in Asbury Park
I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your wife. Although I did not know her, I know how difficult it is to lose someone you love. May you find comfort in family and friends.
Condolence: I had the pleasure of volunteering with Penny at the Center in Asbury Park. We were part of the Thursday cook team helping those affected by HIV/AIDS. Her smile and kindness to those she worked with and served brought great peace and joy. My condolences to Mal and her family.
May eternal light shine upon this good and faithful servant.
Condolence: Dear Mal and family,
I was so very sorry to learn of Penny's passing. I have been in touch with her throughout her illness, and witnessed her courage and grace when facing setbacks.
I worked closely with Penny for almost 30 yrs at the Red Bank Primary School and she was a caring and professional educator, and a great colleage.
I will always remember her beauty, personal style, high energy and positive spirit! She will be missed.
With sincere condolences,
Iris Sherman
